In 2008, Stephanie fled her home in Montana after her husband, a frequent abuser and molester, threatened to murder her. With two young children in tow, she returned to her parent’s home in Colorado. That is when she connected with Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck.
“Ken helped me get through a rough time in my life,” said Stephanie, who is now a nurse in Greeley. “I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for Ken’s work. He helped me to see that I have a voice and I shouldn’t be afraid to use it.”
